Sharing this beautiful wedding of Lisa and Craig at the Drostdy Hotel in Graaff Reinet.

It was a busy wedding weekend in Graaff Reinet, with some challenging and rapidly changing weather conditions, but oh my word what an experience.

It is the fifth-oldest town in South Africa, surrounded by the Camdeboo National Park, Graaff–Reinet, the heart of the “Great Karoo” – Place of Thirst.

The couple shoot took place at The Valley of Desolation. I never knew this place existed (also never experienced fog creeping in and disappearing so many times in a matter of minutes) – but it is simply spectacular! The first 5 photos were taken on Friday afternoon while they were having pre-wedding drinks at the top of the Valley of Desolation.
