Sharing Bronwyn and Lourens’ wedding at Watercrest Wedding Venue just outside of Pretoria East. A super special day not only for the couple and family, but for myself. It was such an honor to capture my friends best day of their lives! I did their pre wedding engagement shoot on their farm out on Lynnwood road called Farm Barn.
I’ve known the couple now for about 2 years having the good old South African braai every now and again and on occasions enjoyed riding their horses in the arena with them.
It was a very very emotional day, but filled with love and support especially for the bride, she has a heart of gold! Kaspaas was the ring bearer and is always by Lourens’ side … always. The day was ended off with fireworks.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this stunning wedding!
Sharing Leanne and Neil’s surprise Great Gatsby 50th birthday celebration combined with a surprise wedding.
Neil and Leanne had a slightly different plot to that the book reads; they found each other a little later in life, rather than earlier. Neil was full of surprises and he arranged for the best entertainment of the evening yet. Entertainment that would leave the guests surprised, excited and joyful. Neil did not only host and celebrate his 50th Birthday Party, he secretly surprised all his guests and got married to the love of his life, Leanne on the exact same day.
Have a look at the blog post on Chez Charlene’s website!

Celebrating Megan and Luke’s wedding at the beautiful wedding venue just outside Pretoria Rosemary Hill …
I did Megan and her brother Justin’s matric farewell photoshoot 6 years ago, how privileged am I to be her wedding photographer after so many years. Have a look on Pinterest, their matric farewell photos went viral ?
Needless to say, it was quite an emotional day, for the bride, most of the guests and of course myself. Tears … of love, happiness and joy!
Rosemary Hill is situated just outside Pretoria East on the Boschkop Road towards Bronkhorstspruit. This is such a stunning venue with ample photographic opportunities.
My second shooters/assistants for the day – Thank you Carla and Mignon for your help, support and amazing personalities throughout the day ?
